Meeting Announcements

Hello Everyone! 

The Virginia Elevator Safety Association is excited to announce our next meeting for Nov. 6, 

2024 at Berea Baptist Family Life Center 15421 Pouncey Tract Rd, Rockville, VA 23146,

near I-64.

Mike Henley has also been kind enough to arrange a tour of the new Virgina Controls Facility just after a short meeting at the Berea Church!

We will meet at the Berea Baptist Church for Registration first before we tour the facility.

 Travel up the road to Virginia Controls about 9:20am.

Virginia Controls new facility is just west of Berea on the I-64. At the facility, we will be broken down 

into 2 or 3 groups to move through production, QC, and R/D test rooms. While Virginia Controls 

now has a larger production facility, they don't have a large enough meeting room for us (why we are 

starting at Berea Baptist). Virginia Controls was recently purchased by Innovation Industries 

(fixtures,..) and looks very different than many years ago when NAESA toured it.

This will give everyone 2 credits for QEI organizations as per ASME a tour of an elevator industry 

factory counts in CEU's. We will also have our normal DHCD credits.
