The Virginia Elevator Safety Association is excited to announce our next meeting for February, 27, 2025 at Local 51 Union Hall Located at  8052 Elm Drive Mechanicsville VA 23111 at 8 am.

• General  Business - Treasurer's report, website info transition
• Elections
• Reminders on DHCD code  change training
• Violation items seen in new construction & mod (including Fire Service Access Elevators) 
• Lunch (provided) -      11:30am - 1:00pm
• Webinar @ Local 51 hall      - 1:30pm - 2:30pm ( Emergency Communications & Monitoring by ATIS)

Note from the President Mike Henley

I asked ATIS to present their new program as they have launched a new sector of their business.  More businesses are getting into the answering sector of emergency cab communications.  While this topic leans more toward building owners/representatives, inspectors are required to test these communication (so this should be a good overview).

Thanks for member interest in this meeting.  The yearly elections are important, and I appreciate all those who are willing to be on the ballot.
